Rakaia School .::. Have you met Dunford?

Congratulations to Travis Abraham from Room 3 who entered the competition to name our new mascot. Travis reminded us that Mr William Dunford was the ferryman with the Rakaia River and that we are on Dunford Street so the mascot will aptly be named “Dunford”. This is a fitting name for the salmon and we appreciate the thought that has gone into the naming of our mascot by all of the children
